Job Description

Associate Family Law Attorney ready to take on a key role in a growing and dynamic firm. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on client outcomes while playing a part in the firm's continued expansion. You'll manage cases independently from start to finish within a collaborative team environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. There are also opportunities to mentor junior staff, support community initiatives, and help improve internal processes and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution
  • Advocate for clients in court appearances, mediations, and hearings
  • Develop case strategies that align with client objectives
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Oversee case timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Review and edit pleadings and filings prepared by support staff
  • Draft complex motions, pleadings, and other legal documents as needed
  • Partner closely with paralegals and legal assistants to drive efficient case management

Qualifications:

  • Experience successfully managing a high volume of family law cases through resolution
  • Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a high level of accountability and motivation
  • Collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia
